Help Finding Replacement Exterior Door Hinges (with pictures)

The door between my kitchen and the garage has 4 inch brass hinges that I’m wanting to replace. The hinge that attaches to the door frame is a little wider than the hinge that attaches to the door. I’ve been to HD and Lowes and a regional hardware store with no luck. The house was built in 1988. There is a logo on the hinge that looks like “pd” but it could be something else. The number PT08 is stamped on both hinges. The door is 1.75 inches thick, but you only have about 1 1/8 inches of wood between the metal skin on front and back. I have several pictures. Thanks.

That's a Peachtree door hinge. Hard to find and expensive as all get out. The original hinge was 3.5 x 4 but those are out of existence. You probably shouldn't replace them if you don't have to. And if you do, you can probably sell the old ones on ebay, because they are like gold.

The closest thing Peachtree has is their 900-00010 hinge:

You might be able to contact them directly for suggestions. You aren't the first person to be in this quandary. Worst case scenario, you would need to glue plugs on one or both sides of your old hinge holes and drill new holes to use the above hinge... -or- possibly mortise the door side mortise an additional 1/4" (assuming their 3 3/4 x 4 is not a direct replacement... but closer than anything else out there.)

Wow... that looks like it. My hinge measures 3 11/16 inches across (not 3 3/4). I think we'll just paint them. Thanks for your help. By the way, I looked on eBay just to see what they would be worth, but didn't see any in the Completed Listings Search Results.

You know they are rare if they've never been sold on eBay. The 3 3/4 x 4 are probably what you have then. Your pic made them look like 3.5s which are older and harder to find.

Ever try to get a proprietary part that you cant buy anywhere because the mfg no longer sells it? You can pretty much name your price and someone will pay it if they need it bad enough.

The search sold history appears to only go back about 90 days, so no Peachtree PT08 hinges have sold in the past 90 days and none are listed for sell. I've got 3, but wouldn't have a clue what to ask.
