No gap hinge for privacy screen advise

I am constructing a privacy screen using multiple panels connected by hinges.
I'm trying to find hinges that will leave no gap between the panels regardless of the opening position of the panels. It seems that piano hinges would do this, but i'd like, if possible, to find an alternative that doesn't require so many screws and that might look better. Is there any way to have no gap between the privacy panels without using piano hinges?

Apply a semi flexible piece of material over the hinges for the full length of the panel. You can staple it on or glue it. Make it to match the panel pattern.

Mortise the hinges so that the panels touch and eliminate the gap.

A non-mortise hinge would result in a smaller gap that is only as thick as one hinge leaf. https://www.rockler.com/3-non-mortis...rious-finishes. I suppose you could mortise that into one side as well for a completely closed gap.

Surface mount a standard hinge or use a butler tray table hinge.

The body of the piano hinge will fill the gap when the doors are open or closed. I don't think any other hinge will provide that kind of closure regardless of the position of the door. Soss hinges would be an alternative, but may not provide the tight gap you want regardless of the door position. (See this video [not mine] at about 2:45) to see how they operate.

Generally you would probably have some type of fin or weatherstripping to provide a bug shield and close the gap between doors.
