How to connect bike chain to flexible drive shaft?
I Apologize if this is not the correct sub forum to post this in, couldnt find one that perfectly matched what I was looking for.
I got this project im thinking about to connect an old bike along its chain to a flexible drive shaft snake it along , and connect it to a an actual solid drive shaft in another place.
im not really very mechanically inclined and i was wondering how I would find a flexible drive shaft, thats got an end to mesh with a bike chain. And the other end to mesh with a solid drive rod.

Those are not standard off the shelf requests. You will likely have to fabricate much of what you need. Solid and flexible shafts are easy and can be bought. How you attach your chain will depend on the orientation. Is the bike chain parallel or perpendicular to your drive shafts. That will tell you if a simple sprocket might work or if you need a 90 degree gearbox or some other way to attach your chain and shafts.
