I have a Kenmore he3 dryer (circa 2001) (model # 110.82832100) that required a new handle. As I removed the front door cover (made of plastic) I noticed that many of the posts holding in the screws had broken. I ordered and received a new door frame but no screws came with. So, I started searching for the screw pack (STD601105) and it is harder to find than hens' teeth. Out of stock, no longer available, special order, etc., etc. So I went to look online for thread cutting screws and the only ones I can find are sold only in quantities in the thousands. The smallest was a 100 but they only sell to other businesses (of which I am not). I need 8. Does anyone know or had some success with other type of screws in this situation. Specifically I was wondering about self-drilling or self-tapping screws as they are more readily available . Thanks

Hello everyone. I need some help with a bolt type door fastener. I am sorry i dont know the proper names for the things. I have several spring bolt type fasteners on my stable doors that slide into a flat L shaped piece of metal with a hole in it attached to the door frame. I need to enlarge the size of the hole the bolt fits into because the building shifts a bit in the winter causing the bolt to not line up properly. In the summer its fine. It was suggested i make the hole bigger but i dont know what kind of tool to use to do this. Someone mentioned a drill bit but i havent seen any of the size i would need. Is there some kind of an attachment i can put on a dremal that would work? Any other suggestions? I am a complete newbie to fixing things and appreciate all the help i can get. Thank you.
