Removing Craftsman tool chest drawer

Need to remove a drawer from a craftsman 5 drawer tool chest. Can't find old op manual. Tips? Links?

There are different types of latches so you need to look for yours. Pull the drawer all the way out and look at the slides. You might see a metal tab you need to push in or pull out slightly. If the latch doesn't release close the drawer slightly to release tension on the latch and try again.

I have two Craftsman five drawer boxes. They're different but the drawers come out the same way.
Push that metal clip in on both sides and drawer will slide out.
Much easier to do with an empty drawer.

Sometimes it is metal, sometimes it is plastic. Sometimes it pushes up, sometimes it pushes in.

[h1]Looking for some suggestions or advice. This is my daughter-in-law’s rocking chair. The glue and fasteners have dried out and the chair is falling apart. The unit is put together using those threaded inserts for wood hex drive threaded wood inserts. It appears they were already glued into the wood, and it dried out. Repeated tightening has caused the insert to be stripped in the wood. They no longer grip. My thoughts were not to replace the inserts but to glue in an oversize dowel in the hole and then use a wood screw to fasten the chair back together. Or should I buy oversized inserts? Or are there any other methods I might consider? Any non-bulky "clamp" to shorten the length of a strap?

Lately, to save on costs, heavybags are being made with straps in lieu of traditional chains. The problem is I can't shorten the straps like I can a chain. Is there some sort of clamp that will allow me to fold up the strap and clamp it together so it's not so long?
