Not sure really where to put my post but I figured that the Health section might do the trick. I'm trying to figure out how to get more support out of the underlying frame in our bed. We have a mattress and the box spring and it sits on a metal frame. If you remove the mattress and the box spring, stand in the middle of the frame and look down this is what it looks like: 1__________3 1__________3 1__________3 122222222223 1__________3 1__________3 1__________3 Rows 1, 2 and 3 represent some heavy duty steel bars that are interconnected. In order to get some more comfort I cut 4 pieces of 1/2" thick, 12 inches wide boards which the length from row 1 to 3 and parallel row 2. So we have better horizontal support but I've got no clue on how to get better vertical support. I can't run boards in a vertical fashion since the only support those boards would have would be the bar 2 in the middle. Any ideas on what to do? I hope I'm making sense to some of you! Thanks. The insteps on my feet seem to continually blister up.It was never like that in the days before they came out with these "high arched insteps" in these shoes nowadays.Are there any athletic shoes out there that don't have these???
