Need tips on getting taller

Hello. Well I'm a 16 year old male and I don't think I've grown an inch for almost 2 years now. My cousins, both males and females who are younger than me are almost as tall as me, if not taller. I know everyone grows differently but I hope I can add a few more inches to my height before all the growing is complete. Does anyone have any tips as to how I can get taller? Thank you.

I hate to say it, but there isn't any way to make yourself taller. Its all in your genetics.

Good news is that your probably not through growing either. I personally grew 3" my 17th summer. Painful, and I was taller than most boys in my classes. Most caught up with or surpassed me by the time we all graduated.

On the other hand (not trying to be a downer, just keeping it real) I have four children. The oldest are really tall. The 21yo is 6'3", and his sister, 18, is 5'9" (my height). Their younger siblings (half brother/sister) are not nearly as tall. In fact, the youngest is the same height as his 14yo sister. One father was 6'1" and the younger two's dad is my height.

Its not necessarily based on just the parents, but also the grandparents as well. Although their fathers (both) and I are thin, my children are heavier set (grandparents).

Your rate of growth and maximum height is decided by heredity. You may see a large growth "spurt" all of the sudden. You may also not see it. They have growth hormones but they are dangerous and are by a Doctor only. Be happy with the height you have and enjoy life to the fullest. Being a little shorter than some others is not a cross to bear. Good luck.

You need to eat a proper diet and get plenty of sleep in order to acheive your maximum potential for growth. If you're already doing that, you'll just have to be patient.
