little bumps on hands
Hi. I have been puzzled about these little red bumps on my hands. i have researched a little on the web to find related forums. other people complain about bumps that itch. mine do not itch, but they are sore. they seem to have a white center deep under the surface of my skin. i pick at them, which i know i should not. they eventually seem to dry out and go away, only to come back at different spots on my fingers. my mom also said that she has them, but we cannot figure out what the cause could be.

Diagnosing something without having the patient in front of me is darn near impossible. Best bet if you're concerned about it would be to schedule a visit with a dermatologist. If you're just curious, I'd try buying a dermatology book that has lots of pictures. It might help if you start looking for any patterns as to when the bumps appear or disappear.
