Glad it's getting better. So...how's the other arm? I've had that happen to me more than once except it would be a bruise or a tweak (strain) somewhere and I had no idea where it came from. I would even have something happen to one part of my body and get something else on another part b/c I strained myself from trying to save myself from the first accident.

Is it possible that, after you banged your right elbow, you then favored it and continued to work, using your left arm for jobs it was not used to doing? That could bring on the aches.

I think it's called getting older. If I wake up without a new ache, pain, or creak of some kind, I figure I must be dead!

There are lots of studies about sympathetic pain. If you have an issue that lasts longer than 2 wks, the docs recommend an appointment.

It's funny, when I first read this question I thought to myself "maybe the left arm got jealous of the right arm" LOL
Maybe I was right!

This is what I thought when I read the original post - were you doing anything afterwards (lifting, etc) that would put extra strain on your left arm as you try to compensate thinking your right arm is hurting?

This thread's around a month old now - hopefully the pain's gone away by now but if it hasn't you really should see someone about it.
