Duck foot

I have had fairly straight facing feet for 80% of my life. The last 2 years my right foot started facing out little by little. Its only out by about 15-20 degrees but it is worse when I'm jogging. I try to mentally force it to straighten out but it never sticks. 2 main things that has changed in my life over the last 3 years. 1, is that I went from 290 lbs to 180. 2, I tend to sleep on my back more now than I did growing up. Now here's my thought on the outward foot. When I am laying on my back my right leg "falls" you could call it. to the right and will cause my right foot to face outward, whereas my left leg remains upright for the most part. I know its a crazy thought but could the stress of my leg staying in the position night after night for years realign the natural resting spot? Thought I throw my nonsense out there and see what kind of replies I get.

Based on your info, you are 10 years old. Have your parents make an appointment with a medical doctor.

I don't understand your comment. What info would lead you to believe they're 10? They've been a member since 2010 so obviously older than 10.

80% of life with straight feet, so 20% of life with crooked feet. 20% of 10 years is 2 years which OP states is the time he has had crooked feet.

I apologize for not taking the time to give exact numbers on the matter but I thought giving a general idea of what's going on that I could get a mature response from an adult. Especially since this is a "do it yourself" gathering. But I do appreciate you wasting your precious time and helping a fellow member out.

H3re2Learn, these are your words, not mine. "Thought I throw my nonsense out there and see what kind of replies I get" . Sounds like my response was not the kind you expected. Apology accepted.

I can only take a guess because I really don't know. Could be a ligament stretching or mild arthritis setting in. They sell foot braces to wear at night, to keep the foot straight and still. Might help. They're not very comfortable tho. I sometimes have to wear one on occasion because I have planter fasciitis at times.
Probably your best bet would be to see a foot or orthopedic doctor.
