heat pump icing up

heat pump icing up

I hope someone can help me . inside my heat pump ices up after about 8 hours and stops blowing cold air. tech checked gas level and it is fine . Help

If a good tech looked at it why are you here. he shoould hmave found out why. Dirty, coil , filter, blower, condenser. Check valve at unit for heat pump. Id call him back if you paid him to fix it.

blower motor could be getting hot and stopping

Could be dirty filter or dirty coil. What kind of tech just looks at the pressures, says it's ok and leaves if it's freezing up? "Something smells fishy" Was there a problem when he checked the pressures?
