Thermostat Wiring Help

I need help wiring a new thermostat. I am replacing a White-Rodgers IF89-211 thermostat with a Honeywell CT3611. The White-Rodgers is wired as follows: C (blue), W2 (white) with a jumper to E, R (red), G (green), O/B (orange and I am assuming this is a B wire because the switch inside the thermostat is positioned to B - but is there any other way I can know for sure?) and Y (yellow)

The new Honeywell Thermostat has B, L, C, R, W2, E, W1, Y, O and G. There is a factory installed jumper between W1 and Y. This is where I get confused. I have B to B, C to C, R to R, Y to Y and G to G. What do I do with the W2 wire? Does it go to W1 or W2 and what about the jumper? In the White -Rodgers thermostat W2 is jumped to E (emergency heat). Where Honeywell has the jumper it doesn't make sense to me - Y is the compressor. Please Help

Yes, I am sorry this is a Heat pump / Air conditioner unit - RUUD model # UBHA-14J06NFJAI with 21.1/23.8 amps and volts 208-240. What is a V/S Blower? Don't know if it is one or not! Thanks for the prompt reply.

Rheem and Ruud to a CT3611
By my books Jumper Y to W1 keep it on
C -is common are your X

R- is power

Y- is compressor

W1 -stage1heating relay

W2 - is aux heat relay

G- is fan

O- is cooling change over relay

B -heat change over relay now dont use both the O and B just one Dont know how you are wired in there.

L- is system monitor

E- is emergency heat

Dont know why you have B there For ruud shows just O

You know that programmable tstat dont work to good for heatpumps. When you have a big set back in temp when it turn back up it has to turn the electric strip heaters on so you burn up what you save in $$$$

Thanks Ed!

I want to make sure I understand; I only have 6 wires. There is not an E wire, so do I not worry about that? Also, my W wire on the old thermostat went to W2 - do I still go to W2 on this thermostat or W1? I think I just answered my own question...since Y has a jumper to WI put the W wire to W2 like it was in the old thermostat...but how does the emergency heat kick on if E is left alone? What do you recommend for a thermostat? I live in North FL, so the heat doesn't get used very often and the programmable thermostat works well with the ac? I don't mean to sound so helpless!

You have the heat pump use it down here for sure If it goes out save the $$$ and just go strip heat Like you said you dont need it that nuch. Now back to the Ruud ,My cross over Shows that it has a E ?????. I think go down and look just what and how it is wired in Draw it out on paper helps.Did the strip heaters come on for you on the old tstat? On down the line you might want to look into a hot water recovery unit for the AC there Free hot water and it will kick up the seer of the unit you have.

Can you tell I am a woman or what!!!! There doesn't seem to be an E wire, unless it is the white wire that went to W2 on the old themostat, because the W2 connection and the E connection were tied together with a jumper. Now I am getting even more confused. SHould I put the white wire labeld W2 on the old thermostat to E on this thermostat, leaving W2 empty? Then Y will be wired with Y from the old thermostat with the factory installed jumper to W1. WIll this work?

In the Ruud info you have does it tell you what color is what - maybe that would solve my problem!
