Fasco electric toekick heater

Is Fasco still making #2450 toekick heaters? If not; were they a good heater and when did they stop making them. I ask this because someone gave me one in the box, looks new.

Heat Pumps and Electric Home Heating
What should I look be looking for???

The new compressor gets installed tomorrow. Anything I should be looking for when they install it? I've read so many thing I can't even remember what they were for. I guess to make it simple I could use a description of what the industry standard for this repair is. Will they just slap it on and recharge the system or are there things they have to do before they charge it. They said it is about a 4 - 5 hours job. Michael

Now I'm coming home from work to a cold condo or waking up cold. Anybody have any suggestions? Also, my upstairs is very hot and downstairs which has much higher ceilings is remaining cold. Other than closing a few vents upstairs do you all have any ideas? Thanks.
