Electric Heat for 3 season room

Electric Heat for 3 season room
I recently added on an insulated 3 season room. I find that I now want it available all year round. 320 Sq. Ft. This room is on it's own 20amp breaker. I am choosing to go electric heat for this room. My dilema is this: can I just purchase some dept store baseboards that are oil filled and plug them into the regular receptacles or would I save if I added a 30amp breaker and hard wired some 220 baseboards and a thermostat. thanks!

It would be best to get the baseboard insted of the free standing units.
Will the room be sealed well from the weather? Insulated all around?
Do you have a basement/crawl space under it? If so, how about tie into your current system?
Do you want A/C in the summer?

To add just a little more: Initial cost for freestanding baseboards will be lower, running costs will be similiar, safety and comfort of perminantly installed baseboards will be much greater. Plug-in units should not be left running unattended.

Thanks for all the advice....Upon further study, since the rest of my house is FHW oil , wouldn't it make the most sense if I just added another zone for this room. It would me a short piece of exposed copper in my living room going out to the addition. Easily hidden with a piece of furniture. Then I can put a 180* fitting on the end of the baseboard and just loop it right back into the basement. I would probably save more $$$ over the long run. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated! HAPPY HOLIDAYS. --Bob
