Arrow Need More Detailed and Specific Information

Hello: centaur. Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site.

Any suggestions
Only suggestion at this time is: Need far more information.

Type of heating system would be a start.

Electric heating???
Heat pump???

Brand name, year and model, if known and possible.
Locate the manufacturers plate or sticker to find the info.

Wink

Ok we have a heat pump and no heat. Is it the breaker for the outside unit? Are the breaker for the inside unit? At just the tstat can you go to fan on and do you get fan. Have you looked at the out side unit any burnt wires. When you turn the breakers on do they pop off right away?
Like sharp said we do need info so some one here can help you out.

Narrow problem down to the heating strips. Unpluged red wires going to heating strips and now i have heating, but the air will not shut off when it meets it desired temperature.

Found the switch inside the air handler sticking. Pushed it down to unstick it, seems to be working.
