Fan blows when switched from AUTO to ON, but still no heat...
Hi There,
First, let me admit that I am pretty ignorant when it comes to home heating - I know how to change the filter and adjust the thermostat but that's about it.
I have a York Heat Pump and Gas heating: All of a sudden the heat does not turn on when set to AUTO (the fan doesnt blow either). When I set the thermostat to ON the fan blows, but not hot air.
I checked the circuit breaker and all seems good there. I dont notice a pilot light on in the heater (seem to recall seeing one at some point. Also none of the copper pipes are hot except for the time leading to the water heater.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Doug
