heat pump airflow over condenser

Just replaced cendenser fan. Old fan had only 3 wires, new motor has 4, plus 2 sets of wires to change direction of fan. Worked all main wiring up ok, runs great. Question is , don't remember, which direction the fan should be blowing. Should it be pulling outside thru the condenser or blowing air thru.

Thumbs up

Should be blowing air up and out.
Make sure you got the same RPM on the motor

condenser

Thanks

RPM is with 10 rpms. Unit was installed in 1988,Trane, rectangle unit not round. Condenser fan mounts on the inside of unit with the condenser facing outward. Vents out the side of unit. Right now the fan is pulling air thru the condenser and vented out to the sides. Is this right or should the flow be going in the other direction.

Blows out end not top

This unit has a solid top panel, not split unit. Vents on sides, condenser on one end, blower in ducts on other end. I'll asume since all trane units intake air from sides ,blow out, the fan should be blowing thru the condenser instead of drawing air thru it.

Air should be drawing air thru the coil not blowing it thru.
