Hanging lights in a room with radiant ceiling

I have radiant ceiling heat and want to run some track lights and possible a ceiling fan.

How can I hang these items on the ceiling?

What is the easiest was to determine where the coils are?

We just purchase the house and this type of heat is new to me, so if I ask a dumb question...

One way I've heard of to find the coils is to turn on the heat & wipe the ceiling with a wet sponge. The areas in which there are wires is supposed to dry first. I've never done it but I hear it works. You might also want to post this question on the electrical forum.

I saw that in another post too. Someone also recommended a cable tracer ($$???). I just bought the house so, I am not sure if these are the complete panels or the wire was laid down (up?) first and drywalled over.

I need to get into the attic to determine that, at least I think I do.
