removing baseboard heater

hope i'm in the right thread! - i have forced air so i don't need the baseboard heater in my kids' bedroom (and i don't want them fidling with it!) how do i remove it? what do i do with the electical connection??

First you have to identify the electrical circuit that feeds this heater and have it disconnected at the breaker box by a licensed electrician then it is simply a matter of pulling few screws out and yanking it off the wall and placing it on the yard sale table. Most of these are 220 volt and nothing that a inexperienced homeowner would want to take a chance on, would you?
