Vacation Home AC control

I have a vacation house in Virginia that I rent out on a weekly basis. All utilities are paid by me. The house has 2 heatpumps with 2 thermostats (i.e.: 2 zones). Property Manager is not doing a good job of turning thermostat to minimal setting after tenants depart. Could be 2-4 weeks between rentals. Also, cleaning lady and handyman go in at various times and crank up AC in summer and do not adjust it when leaving. Trying to find a product to get better handle on heat in winter and cold in summer.

One option is a home automation device that allows me to better manage the thermostat remotely via internet or phone call. Another idea (and one I like better) is to automatically set the thermostat, at say, 7am everyday to the minimal setting. And it actually takes a person to set it to desired temp everyday. This way I am guaranteed that if nobody is staying at the house, it would reset to minimal setting the next morning....no phone call, no internet connectivity, etc. Do not want tenant to set "hold temp" and override my setting after they are long gone.

What options/products will fit my need?
