Ive looked at the inside unit and all it says is the part number. the out side unit only has HIGH EFFICIENCY on top of the blower motor I think its a carrier. I'm trying to figure out who made it, how old it is, and how big it is. The model number for the inside unit is: FA4ANFO42 the product number for the inside unit is: FA4ANF042000AAAA The model number for the outside unit is: HA1AJ036-B The product number for the outside unit is:HA1AJX036000ABAA. anyone know what I have or where I could find out? thanks

We bought a new thermostat, and tried to hook it up, but we are not clear which wires should go where. The old Thermostat (White-Rodgers) Had Y, W, G, RC and RH terminals. The Yellow wire was connected to Y The White wire to W The Green Wire to G The Red wire to RC and RH. The New thermostat has: R, Y1, W2, E, O, B, G, L and C terminals. For a York system the manual for the thermostat seems to say we don't need the B and to Jump the E from the W2. We hooked Red to R Yellow to Y1 White to W2 (then E) Green to G There are Blue, black, Brown, and orange wires coming out of the wall with the other thermostate wires, but were not hooked up to the old thermostat. There are O, B, L and C terminals on the thermostat which have no wires.
