Question Fan not spinning

Ok, I have a YORK HP (E1FB024A06A) and the fan is not spinning - I was able to get it to spin with a ton of WD40 but, once it went off, I was not able to start it up again. Where can I buy a new motor? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..

Wink

When calling to run can you give it a pushand see if it runs . If so then its can be just the capacitor. If not .Try Grainger and Johnstone Supply.

Make sure you get the same HP the same RPM and it turns the same way CW or CCW. also get a new capacitor with the new motor.

Cool

If the motor stopped after you started it then it is probably bad. You will need to replace both the cap and the motor. The cap will require you to look on the side for the microfriad rating match all the numbers. example 5Uf 370
then do the same for the motor.
be careful with the old cap. dont touch the top plugs.
replace wire 1 at a time.

Condenser Fan Motor - is what i think I need. I took it off today and sprayed a whole lot of wd40 and other pBlast spay. The fan went on the first time with me pushing it along. the 2nd time it went on it's own. I thin i need to order a new motor part # k55hxply-5192. Now, where do you suggest? I found it here: http://hvacoracle.com/cgi-bin/store/oracle.cgi?x=parts&show_details=686&cur=USD&s=cooling

for $129. is this what I need? and does anybody know anything about this company?

. The fan went on the first time with me pushing it along. the 2nd time it went on it's own. For the cost Id try a new capacitor first. Check at any electric shop or AC HVAC company
