Trane XLi Funky Top
With the heavy pollen and all the tassels/leaves from my oak trees, I want to clean the inside of my XL14i HP condenser. Can a Trane expert tell me the size wrench needed to open the top? Also, should I wash out the condenser both from the inside and outside? Is there a correct procedure to follow? Thanks for your reply.

Not an expert on fasteners. My condenser has 4 hex head bolts( not a slotted head). Size has to be very small. I would need an openended wrench. I just don't know the size. Thanks for your help.

Take a good look up into the coil and see if you got any cottenwood seed build up or not. If it's really bad, then you do need to flush it down well. A friend of mine he never paid any attention to his for a few years, and his coil was soo plugged up, I had to do the burn to get it clean!
