Charging your heat pump.

Since it is illegal for anyone not certified by the EPA to handle refrigerants and we here at Do It Yourself have no way of knowing if a user is certified or not, or if another reader may take the info and perform illegal activities we will not give any information on charging procedures, or any type of sealed circuit repairs.

Charging procedures include how to properly charge your system, what the proper pressures should be, etc...

Sealed circuit repairs include any work that requires the handling of refrigerant such as changing an a-coil, moving a condenser unit yourself, changing out a heat pump unit yourself, etc...

General questions on what the effects of too much refrigerant or too little refrigerant in the case your system is freezing or a tech added refrigerant and it's not performing properly are welcome but repair remedies will not be given if it pertains to the refrigerant circuit. We will tell you what to look out for when a tech is working on your unit but no step by step or technical information.
