Furnace Condensate Pump will not shut off
I have a Condensate Pump CU191TUL that will not shut off. I have taken it apart and cleaned it but to no avail. While I had it apart I could get it to shut off when I moved the float up to the top (Like if the bowl was full of water). Is the bowl suposed to remain full of water all the time or is there something else wrong?

That float is what turns it on and off. As the pan fills up the float should go up and turn it on. As the pump gets the water out the float goes down and should shut the pump off. On some units there is a check valve on the pump So when it shuts off the water in it cant run back into the pan and make the pumop run right away again.
