2 mo Haier Heat pump stopped working (help)

Got it 2 months ago.
air handler is running but the outside unit is not.
Pull off service panel, led flashes 3 times.
I look up the manual and it says HPS & LPS open circuit.
this unit is brand new.

I see the LPS and HPS sensors inside the unit outside.

any idea as to what may be wrong.
what causes them to go bad? did something trip them?
possibly just bad from factory?

Sounds like a warranty issue, call the installer to check it.

Is this a split system? Window unit? What's the model number?

heat pump unit outside.
Mode HAIER HR36C1VAR
3 ton unit.
I used the same air handler on the inside.
I put in a new line set.
Also put in a new coil (3 ton) in the air handler.

Do I have a leak perhaps someplace and its tripping it up?

this new install worked great for about a month now.
Last night I went out their with a ohm meter and the LPS and HPS both were .1 ohms. does not seem like an open crkt to me. put everything back together, flipped the circuit breakers and it worked. Went to bed. this morning, same thing.
outside unit LED is blinking 3 times and not working.

Do you have an EPA cert?
Did you bleed nitrogen through lines while brazing?
Did you pressure test?
Hom many microns did you vaccum too?
Did you do a vaccum leak test?

had a friend who has an HVAC cert come over and do the R22 stuff, brazing, pressure check and such. I dont want to keep bothering him with this.
leak checked it.
stuck vac pump on it and let it pump down for an hour to lowest it will go, I dont remember the exact number but 30um i think.
Did not flow N2 thru while brazing.

it seems to be doing this on the warmer days and thos days happen to be the days its raining as well.
when I say warmer, I mean over 45 degrees.

When its colder out, it runs fine.

perhaps an over pressure?

well it was running great for the last few days.
it did it again a few mins ago.
It is not on while the inside air handler is on.
I go out and LED is flashing 3 times.
I turn the tstat down so the airhandler kicks off.
cycles the breakers in the garage for the HVAC.
turn the tstat back on and the HP comes on.
the 3 times it has done this happens to be rainy days as well.
perhaps something is getting wet.

Now, the outside unit will not turn on at all.
LED flashes 3 times.
thats all it will do when the tstat calls for the outside unit to run.

looks like Im dead in the water now.
im hoping, its just a leak and the LPS is tripping the unit.
