no heat

i have a goodman 3 ton central air conditioner and last night the heat stopped coming on. the unit does nothing, no fan or anything. i tried to turn on the a/c and it did nothing either. when the temp drops the thermostat does "click" like its trying to come on. i check the breakers and seems to be ok. please help, its getting cold.

Is your tstat battery operated or hardwired?

If battery powerd you may have lost the transformer in the indoor unit or blown a fuse on the indoor control board.

Yes, primary side and secondary side. With volt meter see if 24 (or so) is coming from secondary side.

Kill power and disconnect the trans. Ohm each side if it's open it's bad.
