ARI specs- 2 R22 systems Good vs Better
Local dealer used 3036 AH, on the seer 14, NOT the 3636 i asked for.
But, it is VERY interesting how well this works with my larger than needed 3T system. i lose 2,600 btu on cool(plenty remaining for my house) and pick up 5,600 btu on heat when super cold(i like more heat)
cooling 34400 vs 33,400(seer 14.5)
EER 11.5 vs 12.2
SEER 13.0 vs 14.5
heat @47F 32600 vs 34,600
HSPF iV 7.8 vs 8.75
heat 17F 16000 vs 21600
RLA 12.2 vs 13.4 (r4101 was 16.6)
good vs +$300

so hp's have a crankcase heater? could this explain why the seer 14.5 draws 1.2 more rated load amps? better heater?
also the 13 does NOT use a TXV
the 14.5 DOES use a TXV.
