Goodman or Nordyne

Does anyone have any thoughts on Nordyne heat pumps ? I think that Gibson is their company or vise versa .They state a 10 year warranty.I wonder if they are better or worse than Goodman ,which I am starting to dislike. Thanks

I'd say they are about the same.

I ended up putting in a Goodman at a Townhouse we rented years back. Owners boyfriend was supposed to put it in but kept canceling appt.

Finally told the guy to drop it and a drier off, I'll put it in and not charge if I need and r22.

Compressor didn't last 6 months. The warrenty compressor was still running a year later when we moved.

Check this page out:
http://www.furnacecompare.com/heat-p...odman/reviews/

also has reviews of other brands.

Nordyne is a manufacurer of several different brand names.
www.Nordyne.com. I think some brands they make are not listed on this site.

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from either manufacturer.
