Thermostat change

New member here, awesome info on this site.

My question....or dilemma is this,I am changing from an old white rogers thermostat to a honeywell digital rth3100c.The old 1 has 4 wires hooked to it

red-hooked to rc with jumper to rh
yellow to y
green to g
white to w

The new 1 has a w,y and g terminal, but I dont know where to hook the red wire running to rc on the old unit. The new thermo has an r terminal.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Red wire goes to R/Rc with a jumper between the two.

What is your heating source? 90% furnace or lower?
