Can I alleviate hum in electric baseboard

I recently installed two Farenheat heaters one 1000 watts and another 2500 watts on the same thermostat. I have noticed that the 2500 watt heater hums and have returned and replaced that heater with a new one. It still hums and I suspect the higher wattage is what is making the difference as the lower 1000 watt heater does not hum. The hum is not loud, but if possible, any suggestions to alleviate it completely. My only other thought would have been to (just put up with it) or replace the 2500 with two 1250's if the high wattage is the problem. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Does the thermostat energize a contactor inside the unit?

If so it could be loose or touching something.

Sounds like you maybe hearing a contactor or relay coil humming.
