heat pump freezes

heat pump freezes

heat pump copper tubing freezes, water drips from furnace what could be the problem and air flow is not that good, it has new filter

Sounds to me you may have a leak, in (more than likely) in one of the coils. Get ya a bottle of
BIG BLUE, or mix you up some soap bubbles(little thick) Spray it over each coil, and all the joint in the cooper tubing and see if they bubble... then... CALL A HVAC TECH

If air flow is not good I'd say that is the issue. Make sure blower is on high and the blower is clean.
