How high can I mount a baseboard heater
So here's my plan:
I'm building a home theater in the basement, and I want to build a riser so I can have two couches one behind and slightly above the other to give a better sightline.
The problem is that we have electrical heat, and the riser needs to go right where the baseboard heater is.
I want the riser to be 7 feet long and about 8" off the ground level, and the heater we have is an 8 1/2' 2500W one. So my question is this: Can I mount the heater the standard inch or so above the riser, and have the end of it mounted off the riser (screwed into the studs, obviously) so it would end up having about 18" of the heater about 10" off the ground off the edge of the riser.
I really hope that makes sense.
The other option I thought off (and I'm not sure of the safety/logic of this one either) can I put a smaller 1000W heater on the riser platform, and then daisy chain another 1500W heater to it on the lower ground level, and have them both controlled by the same thermostat.
I'd prefer the first option since we already bought the 2500W one, but if the suggestion is to go with the second plan, I 'll just replace our living room heater with the new one.
Hope all that makes sense, and thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't think it'd be an issue but I wanted to double check.
Here's the heater I'm using:
