fan motor

I have a comfortmaker PHF042K000A and the fan motor went out. The replacement fan motor has a black wire a white wire a brown wire and a brown wire with a white stripe on it. The old one only had a black wire, a red wire and a brown wire. how do we wire it up? also the old capacitor has is round and has three groups of places for the wires and the new on they said went with the motor is oval and only has two. What do we do? thanks susan

fan motor

I think we finally got it working correctly. We hooked the new capacitor up to the fan and left the old capacitor hooked up to the other stuff. We are having another problem tho. Please see my other post under heat not blowing in house. susan
