One window heat pump to cool and heat entire house

Hello;
My house is 1,300 SQF. I am thinking of getting a window unit (23,000 btu cooling/16,000 btu heating). I will use booster fans to pull the air through the duct work to other rooms. I will have an opening to the ductwork where my plenum would be, above the window unit. I live in north Texas, it doesn't get that cold. Do you think this would work/
Thanks.

I doubt that is enough heating btu to suffice your home, but I don't know the load on your home. A manual J load needs to be done to tell you that info. Research Manual J Load calculation. The other problem will likely be your conditioned air distribution system that you propose. It will likely not work.

I can see that just sucking in the hot air trapped at the ceiling and pushing it into the other rooms.
With that small a house you may be able to get away with a multi zone mini split system.
Google it.
