Pool Heat Pump calibration

I have a EUS Mark 6 pool and spa heater (heat pump). The thermostat has a 10 degree offset, ie. when the thermostat reads 95 the water temperature is 85. This offset is consistent over the range of the thermostat in both pool and spa mode. Does anyone know a way to re-calibrate the thermostat?

Welcome to the forums.

The Mark 6 looks to be the trade name for your Hayward heater. I'm guessing you have an HP6003T heat pro. I'm not real familiar with the heat pump pool heaters.

Based on that assumption the manual for unit follows. I would replace the temperature sensor first as I don't see a way of recalibrating it or the control board. There may be a diagnostic test you can make but I haven't found it listed. It looks like the heat sensor part number is HPX2169.
