Replacing an old coil
Hello to all!
In the past couple of days I noticed that I was not getting any heat from my air handler (it is a Carrier unit with Payne parts). I opened the fan/coil area and noticed that one of the connectors to electric coil/element was corroded and broken. I did my best to do a temporary/quick fix (as the house was very cold ). I crimped the limiter switch with what was left of the connector. And now I have heat once again.
Here is my deal:
I'm looking to replace the Heater Kit as it seems that it is going to fail again soon. I've been searching the web for this kit or something similar or perhaps more efficient as this is the only source (other than the chimney) of heat for my home. I don't seem to find this part or replacement.
The item is Heater Kit MKFCEH0501N05, Heater part number 324629-703, Phase 1, 5KW.
Any ideas or suggestions from where to get this, replacement options or upgraded more efficient versions of this kit?
Thanks in advanced!

it's hard to tell from your photo ...
but maybe look for something close enough here:
EH0501N05 | 5Kw 230 Volt Electric Heat Strip Kit Carrier/Bryant KFCEH0501N05
and here:

That's a 5KW heating unit. With resistive heating there is no high efficiency. You'll get every watt of heat you pay for. Nothing wasted going up the chimney.
That's a fairly common kit and widely available. Dsomerv left you the link for what seems to be the lowest price around for it.
Just google KFCEH0501N05.
