Question A/C can the outside liquid line filter drier be paintes to prevent rust/ corrosi

I live in Florida, my outside line filter drier, connected by copper line to a//c unit be painted to prevent rust? it's already got some rust on bottom.

Welcome to the forums.

Yes.... you can sand off the rust and paint it. The fresh paint won't affect operation.
Probably a good idea to tape off the threaded ends and coupling nuts while painting.
