Heat pump problem

Hi everyone, I have a Lennox heat pump that is not working in either cold or heat mode. Upon opening the panel the led diagnostic reads "reset pressure switch". I don't see a reset anywhere on the unit. The unit does work when pressing the switch on the controller. I have followed some instruction that I have researched on the Internet, (hosing down the coils to loosen up any blockage.) The unit still won't kick in. Most probably because it needs to be reset. Does anyone know where it might be or if there is one at all?

A dirty outside coil could trip the high pressure switch. Hard to tell where the switch is without a model number.

Welcome to the forums.

Some units have the reset button right next to or under where the refrigerant lines enter the unit.

If not there.... we'll need the model number of the unit to help you further.
