heat pump question

If you get a new complete heat pump system and it is a 3 and 1/2 instead of a 3 ton will the duct work have to be replaced to larger size also? Is not a split system and is on ranch style home-no upstairs.
(an addition was put on home by past owner but no upgrade on the heat pump)
Any info is appreciated on duct work sizing
Thanks

200 more CFM most likely will not be an issue. might be a bit noisy, but if its that close it probability was noisy before. What size is the return and supply now?

It is a 14 inch duct.is it the same for 2 and 1/2 ton to 3 also?
.I also was wondering if the breakers/fuse would still be enough for it also.It has a double 100 amp at main panel and then a set of 60s for heat and a set of 60s for cool on the fuses-pull out style- before it goes to the system .The new system will have 10kw heat.
What is average sizing for these as to breakers/fuses on 3 ton single stage complete system?
Thanks .

60 amp breaker for an air handler with 10kw.
30 amp breaker for the outdoor unit but refer to the nomenclature.

Adding a second return air or enlarging the existing one would be a good idea.

14 inch is way to small for a 3 ton. I'd recommend 20inch.
