Thermostat clicks...... nothing from heat pump system

I have a honeywall Th5220d thermostat. I went to go cut on my heat and the thermostat clicked like it was cutting on as normal but nothing. No air blowing through the vents. Took the batteries out of the thermostat while it was still attached to the wall. It still was lit up and still clicked on like it normally did. Nothing. Its seems that the fan doesn't start at all. Even when i put it on 7 degrees higher than the room tempature on the thermostat.

Im pretty nifty at fixing thing if i know what it is but this is the first problem ive had with my thermostat / heat pump

It has been really cold here... coldest it ever has been. So not sure if that maybe a reason.

Any suggestions on what it might be?

thanks

Check the fuse on the control board in the furnace.
