Thermostat Wiring
I have a Payne 2 stage heat pump single stage air conditioner. Comcast came in and tried to wire their thermostat up that goes with their home security and messed things up. I want to put my original thermostat back on which is a Bryant Legacy non-programmable thermostat. It has O/B, RC, RH, W, C, G, Y. The wires coming from the system are white, yellow, black, red, blue, orange and brown. How should they be wired to the thermostat?

Welcome to the forums.
FYI..... the first thing you do when working on a thermostat is to write down the wire colors or take a picture.
With a two stage system it would be hard to guess at the color code. You should be able to go to the air handler and ID the wiring where it connects at that point.
Based on normal color codes.....
O/B---> orange
RC/RH ---> red
W---> white
C--->
G--->
Y---> yellow
Leaving black, blue and brown.

I know to write down the wire colors. Like I said in my original post Comcast came in and tried to wire their thermostat and when they couldn't get theirs wired right they put my original thermostat back up but wired it wrong. So I have no idea how it is suppose to be wired. I know where the basic wires go, W, R, Y, G, O, it's the blue, black and brown. I guess I am going to end up calling in someone to get it done. Thanks for your help though.
