I replaced my janitrol with a Honeywell 6450 and the fan won't come on.

Check the wire on your G terminal to insure that it hasn't broken.
Verify that it is the same wire that you removed from the old G terminal.

The g terminal works, we removed the new thermostat and installed the old janitrol and it works again. The only wore that isn't used is the C wire. Would that make a difference?

Is this in Cool mode?
Does the fan work with the Fan switch On?

No it won't come on if it's on auto or on with the new thermostat. It works on the old one.

I would verify that we do not have any bent pins between the stat and subbase.
Replace the stat if the pins are okay.
