Another heat pump stat change issue, need help!
I have an old Whiter Rodgers stat that is currently working and its still cold so I'm trying to nail the wiring down before replacing with Honeywell RTH3100C. The current wiring on the White Rodgers is,
Orange x1
White w2
Black O
Brown E
Blue R
Red Y
Green G
My options on the Honeywell
E
AUX
Y
G
O
L
R
B
C
The new honeywell has batteries
I have searched threads for help.
Thanks
Patrick

Good morning. Remember to remove power to the indoor unit before replacing the thermostat to avoid damaging a fuse or transformer.
Orange x1 = C
White w2 = Aux
Black O = O
Brown E = E
Blue R = R
Red Y = Y
Green G = G

Blue R = R
Red Y = Y
Green G = G

Unless you know that the thermostat is malfunctioning, it would seem more likely that the failure to get enough heat is the heat pump gear, or really cold weather .
