Goodman Air handler fan runs even when unit is off
Hello,
Today I got a call from my supervisor about an ac unit at the apartments I work at. The fan runs when the unit is off, although it seems to run at an extremely low speed and is very quiet, it is still running. My supervisor said he had already replaced the control board, thermostat, and fan capacitor. I took a look to see if there was anything out of place, checked the low voltage wires to ensure that there wasnt any voltage leakover from a shorted out wire or something, and couldnt find anything wrong.
The thermostat is set to "auto" and when you energize the unit into heating or cooling the outdoor unit comes on and the fan speeds up to to a more normal speed, but once the temperature satisfies the thermostat, or you turn the unit off, it goes back into a really low, slow speed and runs constantly. Any ideas?
The unit is a 2 ton Goodman air handler, model number AWUF240516AA.
I am a little bit stuck on this.

It can be a little confusing. It sounds like you may have a sequencer issue.
