desuperheater ques?

Hi, newbie here.

I had to change out my water heater due to the tank rusting out.The insert that screws into the drain opening did unscrew but I cannot get it to come out of the old water heater. Stumped.

Is there a source for a replacement for the new water heater, so I can just get a new one, install it and move on?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

I don't understand the title.
What are we talking about.

Domestic hot water heater ? You posted in the heat pump forum.

Most new water heaters come with new parts.

Pj, It is a fancy word for a geo heat pump unit that will circulate water from the bottom of a water heater through a coil inside the peat pump thus transferring "free hest" to the water heater.
