[left]I have a Goodman DSCZ18 heat pump, about 2 years old, and I’m having an intermittent issue with the compressor fan not starting, but the compressor itself is running fine. Once I was able to start the fan with a stick, once I was not. When looking at the wiring diagram, the fan is connected to the dual capacitor only on the common pole, the pole labeled “fan” is not wired, and according to the diagram, that is correct. I assume that the capacitor enters into the fan circuit somehow, otherwise why is it a dual capacitor? Any thoughts? The capacitor is near the center of the diagram label “RCCF”. [/left]

What are the older style glass fuses for in the old ge weathertron heat pumps .? does testing the tip to the side copper also show it's good not on ohms test
