Hanging unit heater or furnace in attic above garage?
Looking at either the 45 HDS (modine hot dawg 45 k btu) or a 40k Goodman furnace (80%).
The unit heater has seperated combustion, but the furnace will be in its own space, with clean make up air.
The unit heater may interfere with my gantry crane a little bit.
The furnace can be ducted to heat both sides of garage (wall down the middle separating garage from my shop area).
They cost about the same to purchase.
What do you all think?
