Ceiling Light Fixture
Have light fixture with chain. Any "decorative" way to move the light over and center it above a table, using the chain, but WITHOUT moving the wiring?

yes, you just install a decorative hook above the table, where you want the light to drop from, and "swag" the fixture over to it. you might need to lengthen the chain so that it swags properly and hangs down far enough. but you can buy chain readily.

Light fixture chain
You can check at local home centers for light fixture chain or with local lighting shops in order to extend the chain. If you can not find a matching chain for extension, you may need to purchase new chain. Too, you may need to splice wiring to extend to meet new location. Most of the light fixture hooks have wing nuts on them. You will need to remove the old hook, push any exposed hardware up into hole in ceiling, and plug. Purchase new hook. You can easily relocate the fixture. You should not have to move wiring.
