shag bathroom rugs?
Do you think shag non-slip bathroom rugs look better than plain cheap bathroom non-slip rugs? I know shag is usually ugly, but wondering if it would do better in a bathroom, cuz right now the rugs I have look good when they are new or washed, but after 2weeks look all flat and matted down from being stepped on with wet feet.

The shag rug will look the same. Couple things to do. Either just give a shake when dry or just damp or buy a bath mat (basically a small, bound towel) and step on that when soaked, then move over to the rug. I put the mat down because I don't like standing on a wet rug.

Because I thought these were bath rugs
I think no matter what bath rugs are going to get that matted down look, maybe its because they arent thick enough or they are just too cheap. The ones I bought cost $2 or $3 at walmart

No, it kinda looks like a towel, but smaller. I find them with the towels (when I can find them).
As for rugs, I buy the reversible ones without the backing. They don't slip and the backs don't fall off and they don't mat too badly. I get mine from Kohls.

I didn't even know you could buy shag anything any more. I like Shadeladie's use of lower pile, towel like mats. Shag will mat down quite a bit, cause you to dance funny and wear polyester for no good reason

Lower matting will dry faster. I hang mine up on the tub door towel bar and it's ready for the next shower, dry. I don't think shag will give that opportunity.
